Privacy
Nothing you type in this game leaves your phone.
That is the short version and it is literally true. There is no account, no sign-up, no login and no database. The game runs entirely inside your browser.
What is stored, and where
The game saves a few things on your own device, in the browser's own storage, so it can remember them next time:
- Which category and which mode you last played
- How many hints you prefer to start with
- Your top three scores for each category and mode
- Any answers the game did not know that your group taught it
All of that stays on that one device. It is not sent anywhere, it is not readable by us, and it does not follow you to another phone. Clearing your browser's data for this site deletes it, and it is gone for good.
What the site itself measures
We count page visits, using a privacy-first analytics service that does not set cookies, does not track you across other websites and does not build a profile of you. It tells us how many people opened the Animals page last week. It does not tell us anything about who you are.
There is no advertising on the site at the time of writing. If that ever changes, this page will say so before it happens, and it will say what the advertiser collects.
For everyone, including children
This is a fun game that helps all of us learn something — a great learning tool for teachers, families, kids and friends alike. It is built so that anyone can play it safely: no sign-up, no personal details asked for, no messaging, no way for a stranger to contact anybody, and no content that arrives from outside. The game cannot collect a name, an age or an email address, because it never asks for one.
