Five silly things to do with your hands when your head has had enough counting. No right answers, nothing to learn. Two are open now; the other three are earned a round at a time.
Loading the silly bit… if nothing happens, head back to Coroplay.
Names and Numbers both ask something of a player. Recess asks nothing. These five are here for the gap between rounds — the two minutes where a child needs to do something with their hands that is not thinking.
Each one wants a different thing from you: bonk them, pop them, pass it on, know when to stop, or spot the one that is wrong. Hot Potato is the one to put in the middle of a table. Odd One Out is the quiet one.
They all draw themselves and make their own noises, which means they are small enough to come along in the offline shell. Once a page has been opened, it works in a car with no signal, which is where a break is needed most.
Two of the five are here whenever you want them. The other three are earned: finish a round of Names or finish a Numbers board, and the next one opens. A grown-up can open them all at once if a phone loses its memory.
Nothing is scored against anyone or sent anywhere. What this browser keeps is the sound setting, so nobody has to mute it twice, and a count of rounds finished, so a game that was earned stays earned.
