Numbers is a board of questions you answer out loud — nine categories, four gears of difficulty, and one TURBO cell hidden somewhere on the board. Pick a category, pick how hard, and play.
It’s built for the adult to play too, not to run. Every hint names the strategy the way a school names it — making ten, compensation, common denominator, benchmark percent — so whoever is holding the phone is learning the same method the child is. Some of it you’ll want for yourself: why 40% off and then 20% off is 52% off and not 60%, or how to check a restaurant bill without reaching for your phone.
That matters, because most of us want to be involved in what our kids are learning and rarely find the opening. Homework is a bad place to start. It lands at the worst hour of the day, and if you’re unsure of the method yourself, stepping in can make things worse rather than better. A game at the table is a better place. Nobody’s being tested, and you’ll hear within about four questions where your child actually is — fine with halves, lost on thirds — which is something a worksheet coming home never tells you.
No profiles, no tracking, no report card. Just the two of you, the board, and whoever else wants in.
Coro — chorus. Everyone gets to play.
